Cross Plastic Surgery in Center City, Philadelphia and on the Main Line in Villanova, is pleased to offer the Joule skin rejuvenation treatments to clear up your skin and turn back the clock without surgery. Aging is often most visible in the skin. As part of the aging process, skin becomes saggy, pores become enlarged, and fine lines evolve into deeper wrinkles. The effects of sun damage and pollution is often seen on our faces, as they typically change the tone and texture of our complexion. Our experienced and trained aestheticians will suggest a combination of lasers to address the skin conditions you are most concerned about. For a limited time, we offer a Complimentary 30 Minute Consultation with a Joule aesthetician.

How Joule Skin Resurfacing Rejuvenates the Skin

Skin Resurfacing is a treatment that removes a layer of the skin to activate the healing process. As laser energy creates microscopic damage to the skin, the body will respond by boosting collagen production as part of the natural healing process. A fresh and healthy skin layer will be formed that is firmer, even-toned and radiant. The Joule dual laser system combines two different lasers to customize the treatment. Most treatment plans have a short downtime and are not painful.

The Best Lasers Peels at Cross Plastic Surgery

To get the best results with Joule, we will recommend one of these three Joule treatments: the Halo Hybrid Fractional Laser, Micro Laser Peel and Nano Laser Peel.

Halo – Hybrid Fractional Laser

With the Halo laser, we can reverse the aging process and maintain a “younger you” for the long term. This hybrid fractional laser uses a combination of wavelengths. The Halo improves the skin’s structure, leads to a natural increase of hyaluronic acid, stimulates new collagen production, and restores a healthy radiance to the skin. This results in skin that is rejuvenated and radiating with energy. In the case of deeper lines, wrinkles, and (acne) scars, multiple treatments are advised.

The Halo laser is often compared to the Fraxel Laser, leaving people confused as to which of the two is better. Based on our experience, we prefer the Halo laser as it proves to be more effective, less painful, and requires shorter downtime. At Cross Plastic Surgery in Philadelphia and Main Line we only offer patients technologies that we tested and have proved to work well on patients with similar conditions.

Micro Laser Peel for Superficial Skin Peeling

A MicroLaserPeel can minimize unwanted skin deviations such as freckles, sun or liver spots, fine lines, and superficial discoloration. This type of peel provides a superficial skin peeling. The results of a Micro Laser Peel start to show within 3-5 days after the treatment. Typically, after one week you can resume your normal activities. Your skin will look brighter, radiant and more alive.

Nano Laser Peel Works to Renew Your Skin

The NanoLaserPeel treatment is a gentler, more superficial version of the Micro Laser Peel. It removes a very thin skin layer with precision. It goes deeper than chemical peels and microdermabrasion, but it does not overheat and damage the skin messenger cells that play a part in the collagen remodeling process.
